Club ¡Amigos del Español!

You are welcome to join the Club ¡Amigos del Español!

Every first and third Tuesday of the month from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., you will have the opportunity to meet students who want to learn more about the Hispanic culture and language.

Purpose
In the 21st century, it is important that our students become global citizens, and are aware of the variety of cultures surrounding them. Our club will focus on using the Spanish language for enrichment and cultural purposes and will look for ways to connect with the Hispanic community in St. Louis through celebrations and events.

Objectives:
  1. To promote the use of the Spanish language beyond the classroom.
  2. To build relationships between students of different levels who are studying Spanish.
  3. To learn about the Hispanic culture, food, music, films, and dances.
  4. To connect with the Hispanic community in St. Louis.
It will be great to have you in our club!

What a great meeting we had today! La primera reunión del año. Trabajamos muy fuerte. Muchas gracias a los siguientes estudiantes: Addi Ríos, Rhiannon Rhoads, Lane Dibler, Joshua Choi, and Mekkah Grant. We discussed several goals and we targeted advertising. Our creative and talented students made these beautiful posters and they become the representatives of El Club Amigos del Español in their own classrooms. Muchas gracias. Ready for our prep rally!
